316 and 317 stainless steel containing molybdenum stainless steel, of which the content of molybdenum in stainless steel slightly better than the 316 stainless steel. Because of molybdenum in steel, the steel overall performance is better than 310 and 304 stainless steel, high temperature, when the concentration of sulfuric acid is less than 15% and more than 85%, 316 stainless steel has been widely used.
316 stainless steel also has good chloride erosion properties, so often used in marine environments.
316L stainless steel has a maximum carbon content of 0.03 and can be used for annealing and maximum corrosion resistance after soldering.
Corrosion resistance and corrosion resistance better than 304 stainless steel, in pulp and paper production process has good corrosion resistance. And 316 stainless steel is also resistant to erosion of marine and corrosive industrial atmosphere.
1, heat resistance:
316 stainless steel has good oxidation resistance under discontinuous use below 1600 degrees and continuous use below 1700 degrees. In the 800-1575 degree range, it is best not to continuous action 316 stainless steel, but outside the temperature range of continuous use of 316 stainless steel, the stainless steel has good heat resistance. 316L Stainless Steel Carbide Precipitation performance better than 316 stainless steel, the above temperature range.
Heat treatment was annealed in a temperature range of 1850-2050 degrees, then rapidly annealed and then rapidly cooled. 316 stainless steel can not overheat hardening.
2, welding:
316 stainless steel has good welding performance. All standard welding methods can be used for welding. Welding can be used, respectively, using 316Cb, 316L or 309Cb stainless steel filler rods or electrodes for welding. In order to obtain the best corrosion resistance, the welding section of 316 stainless steel should be annealed after welding. If 316L stainless steel is used, no post annealing treatment is required.
Typical use pulp and paper equipment heat exchangers, dyeing equipment, film washing equipment, pipelines, coastal area exterior building materials.
